Online Lessons!
Congratulations! Online lessons may seem daunting, but they don't have to be.
We connect for online lessons through
http://www.zoom.us. Zoom gives us a free app for video and sound transmission. They say, “Sign up, it’s free.” My account with Zoom allows us to have unlimited time.
It is possible to have a Zoom meeting with almost any communication device. I suggest a Mac or PC, desktop or Laptop, with video and sound capability. A good microphone is more important than a good camera. Good sound is more important than good video. But first, let's try the equipment you already have. It may be just fine.
Our first 30 minute meeting will be to learn how to connect, set up your video, and sound. There is no charge for this meeting.
Once we're set up, I ask that you let me know what music you would like to work on when you request your lesson, so that I may prepare.
If you have the know how, please try to set up your free Zoom
account before we meet. I will need the email address you signed up with, to connect with you. If you find it difficult, we can work it out together. No stress.
